About MOCC
Manual Osteopathic College of Canada is part of the Health and Wellness College of Canada (HWCC). Collectively, HWCC has been educating Canada’s next generation of healthcare professionals since 2001.
During the Spring of 2016, research commenced into the development of an educational program for learners with existing healthcare designations. The Manual Osteopathic Therapy curriculum with MOCC exceeds the Type II benchmarks outlined by the World Health Organization.
In 2018, MOCC was approved and licensed through Alberta Advanced Education; the following year, MOCC was also approved and licensed through the Private Training Institution Branch in British Columbia. In February 2021, MOCC expanded into Saskatchewan with registration through the Ministry of Advanced Education, Private Vocational Schools branch.
MOCC offers student-centred education and graduates competent, safe, and effective Manual Osteopathic Therapists.
