Ace Physique is looking for a Licensed Chiropractor, Registered Massage Therapist and Manual Osteopath to join the position in Centre Street (downtown area), based in Calgary, AB.

The ideal candidate will have experience and responsibilities:

Taking assessments of patients’ physical conditions.
Formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients.
Conducting complex mobilization techniques.
Educating patients, family members, and the community on how to prevent injuries and live a healthy lifestyle.
Referring patients to doctors and other medical practitioners.
Perform physical assessments and provide overview of assessment, classification, and treatment to clients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a wide range of clients including MVA, WCB, AHS funded and private clients.
Work towards progressing the clients’ physical capabilities and enhancing lifestyle and well-being.
Promote positive relationships between clients, team members, funders and the community.
Conduct assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Ace Physique – is a multidisciplinary wellness clinic which provides Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage, and Manual Osteopathic services.

The clinic is looking for a full-time and a part-time Chiropractor, Registered Massage Therapist and Manual Osteopath to join our dynamic team of practitioners. We are a well-established multidisciplinary health clinic, located in the heart of Calgary, in a busy plaza, closer to many amenities, LRT and day care. The clinic offers a spread-out retail area, big treatment rooms, a full-time reception and billing system, etc.

Our hours are Monday through Saturday 9 am -8 pm. Laundry, hydraulic tables, sheets and other supplies are provided by the clinic with full support from the reception, scheduling, flexibility, etc. Position to start as soon as possible.

Additional duties and responsibilities

Consulting with the patient about their medical history and the reason for their visit
Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing
Assessing the patient’s spine, posture, and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment
Performing neuro musculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patient’s spine and other joints
Providing supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured area
Giving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise, and diet to improve patient’s physical health
Skills and Qualifications:

Chiropractor: Must be licensed with the respective college in Alberta and is in good standing with their association.
Must have good communication skills, the ability to engage and educate clients about the benefits of care and build long term client relationships.
Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making and analysis.
The ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Proven ability to meet given deadlines.
Full Registration with provincial Alberta College/Association
Must be holding a valid Professional liability insurance.
Acupuncture / Dry Needling (IMS) is an asset
Have understanding of MVA and insurance will be beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
