Osteopathic Practitioner for Vitality BioMed

Vitality BioMed is a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a beautifully appointed space in Calgary, AB. We offer a full spectrum of advanced diagnostic testing and holistic treatments ensuring a comprehensive and integrative approach to healing.

We are seeking a self-motivated, compassionate and skilled Osteopathic Practitioner to join our incredible team!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, lifestyle evaluation, and physical examinations, to identify underlying health concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Perform osteopathic treatments, including manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and joint mobilization.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing support and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with other practitioners within the clinic, as well as conventional medical doctors and specialists, to ensure integrated, whole-body care.
• Educate patients on self-care techniques, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term wellness.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records of consultations, assessments, and treatments using an EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited osteopathic training program.
• Licensed or registered to practice as an Osteopathic Practitioner in Alberta.
• In-depth knowledge of osteopathic principles, manual therapies, and musculoskeletal health.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to holistic healing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
• Organizational skills to manage patient caseloads, maintain accurate records, and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Dedication to ongoing education and staying current with advancements in osteopathic medicine.
